Summer camps and private classes are taking over the entire club, why classes and summer camps have to take EVERY court from 9am to 4pm? Most clubs I know only have PART of the courts occupied for classes and lessons. Why don't you guys allocate part of the 10 courts to your camps and leave some courts available for your members to play during the day? We understand you want to make more profit as a business, but we pay an annual membership fee for a reason, nobody wants their membership benefits to be diluted or be taken over entirely by your summer camps. I see many existing members have the same feedbacks, We hope your business consider our concerns before nobody renews their membership here anymore. :(

40 minutes waiting time for a 20 minutes match. I’ve already started looking into other clubs, as the current situation of SBC is no longer sustainable. As a long-time member, it’s disappointing to see court availability plummet. On a typical weekend or weekday evening, the club prioritizes classes and events so heavily that members are left waiting nearly 40 minutes for a single 20-minute match. We all have full-time jobs and the limited windows we can play is filled with private events.

It has much more members than the court capacity. Waiting time is about 20 mins at 10 pm weekday, then playing for 10 mins if you play singles, then wait for another 15 mins. It is even more crowded if you come to the court earlier. If you are considering joining the club, don't waste money and time on this.

If you’re looking for a badminton club that truly prioritizes member experience, Seattle Badminton Club is a fascinating case study in how not to do it. On a Saturday morning/noon — arguably the peak time for members — only 4 out of 12 courts were available for open play. The rest were occupied by paid classes. Apparently, “member club” here means members are welcome to watch… or wait. It’s impressive how efficiently member play is sidelined in favor of scheduling lessons during prime hours. If you enjoy crowded courts, long waits, and feeling like an afterthought, this might be the place for you. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who actually wants to play badminton on weekends.
